About the job

Job Responsibilities:

· In the short term, work closely alongside a third-party vendor and our business functions to

enhance our Data Warehousing capabilities, including:

· Gathering requirements (BRDs) for manual report automation

· Building the reports in our BI tool

· Following the completion of our engagement with the third-party vendor, become the go-to person

in the Bank for further report automation requirements

· Drive adoption and optimised usage of our chosen BI tool, including training business users to build

their own reports

· Define and write epics and user stories for the product backlog

· Validating the IT solution delivers the functional design and project/ feature objectives

· Leading workshops to capture the business processes / challenge status quo and map processes to

the appropriate system

· Suggest areas for automation or optimisation of various business functions or processes

· Contribute the Agile ceremonies e.g. Agile Retrospectives, User Story grooming

· Perform project management duties including create and managing project plans

· Identify and manage issues and risks within the delivery

· Gain the correct estimates from the various functions to build a realistic project plan

· Manage the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) process with business stakeholders

· Work with relevant vendors / Fintechs to enable simplified user experience

· Creating a detailed project charter including cost benefit analyses to ascertain what projects needs

to be undertaken and why (or why not)

· Conducting all release management activities to clearly document requirements, verify technical

designs, architecture and conducting walk throughs and tracking / reporting delivery on a regular


· Studying key trends with respect to evolving risks and upcoming technology to help contribute to

creating the product roadmap more effectively

· Working closely with Technology teams to develop / deploy solutions as agreed under the bank’s

project governance framework

· Conduct training and create supporting documentation of new features to end users so they can

successfully utilise the new elements of the release.

Desired Skills:

· Previous experience of building business requirement documents (BRDs) for manual report


· Experience with PowerBI

· Strategic thinker and problem solver with excellent analytical and reporting skills

· Engaging people leader with proven ability to inspire and lead the vendor teams for ensuring timely

execution / delivery

· Personal drive (proactive), flexible, creative (thinks out of the box), result driven, responsible,

curious, team player and fast learner

· Successfully worked in a project or agile delivery environment

· Ability to succeed in a culture where change and speed are part of daily work.

· Strong collaboration skills and the ability to engage with team members, fostering a high degree of

commitment to quality, delivery and client satisfaction

· Engage with key stakeholders in a creative, dynamic and flexible manner

· Use of JIRA and Confluence to support delivery

· Ability to work with the Scrum Master and tech leads to support successful technology deliveries
