Job Role : Chief Senior Manager FLOD

Context & Role:

Experienced Quality Assurance professional from life insurance industry, who can independently work and execute audit plans and interact with various teams within Operations and create a plan to upscale quality levels with the function 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for carrying out Quality Assurances plans for FLOD team thru concise and complete business & objective to enhance Quality levels within the functional through various methodology such as sampling, validation of processes, identifying regulatory/financial/reputational/operational risks and recommend remediation plans
  • Managing and negotiating with difficult and opinionated functional users, with moderate supervision
  • Actively participate and sometimes execute regional programs as well as drive departments within Operations and services effectively
  • Work in close collaboration with other teams including Ops and services users, IT, Actuaries, Products, and other relevant stakeholders to manage QA processes stringently
  • Understand ad-hoc audits and execute them effectively
  • Review and execute test cases and manage reporting to the relevant teams with Lean Sigma standards
  • Promptly escalate issues, which affect QA delivery and report issues with probable solutions to reporting manager
  • Continually seeks opportunities to increase QA standards and strengthen overall processes within the function

Knowledge and skills desired:

  • Experience in MS Office Suite
  • Experience in using MS Visio
  • Life Asia knowledge preferred
  • Able to work independently
  • Self-starter and team player

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
  • MBA will be preferred
  • Lean Sigma Black Belt certifications will be preferred


  • 4+ Years of relevant Audit/Operations experience in a QA role
  • Experience of working on various Operations functionalities such as new business, underwriting, policy servicing, Claims, Customer Complaints, Call Centre, Renewal, Remittance etc.
  • High level understanding of project management.
  • Understands life insurance business
  • Btech/BE
  • (Equivalent profile accepted)
