Job Role : Finance & Accounts (Budgeting and Expense Control Unit) 

About Job Role 

• This position is under Finance & Accounts vertical
• Ensure completeness and correctness of expense budget control
• Must have worked with large volumes of data across systems and excel sheets
• Should have the ability and the willingness to dive deep and understand the root cause of issues
• Demonstrate a bias for results and persistently pursue the objectives

Keywords and Responsibilities: 

• Expense Intelligence Unit - Budget Control i.e. tracking of Actual vs budgeted cost in congruence with the business numbers;
• Financial Controllership through tracking expenses of the Company.
• Tracking of actual cost levers with Budget to ensure that expenses are within budgets
• Finalization of expense accruals;
• Monthly Dashboards preparation and circulation;
• Liaison with all functions to drive the culture of Cost optimization;
• Ensuring compliance of the Procurement and purchase order policy;
• Monthly analysis of expenses and commentary on variances;
• Preparation of data requirements for Audit Committee and Board Meetings;
• Establish and practice strong internal controls in expense monitoring;
• Managing internal and stat auditors related to above matters
• Adds value to the business by continuous improvement and automation to enable real time report generation

Skills & Competencies

• Well versed with Ind-AS
• Working knowledge of ERP’s preferably SAP
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Preferably from a NBFC/HFC/Banking background
• Ability to develop reports and dashboards to be used by the leadership team to provide insight into various transactions
• Interpersonal acumen - The successful candidate will possess unquestionable personal and professional ethics and a sense of flexibility and initiative that are essential to the success of this role
