LEADERSHIP SESSIONS
Increasing women participation in tech roles is high on the agenda of organizations in Bangalore Chapter and IBM has been instrumental in leading the cause in Bangalore.

Leadership sessions were conducted by Shalini Kapoor, Neelam Gori and Sugandha Srikanteswaran of IBM on March 12 and 23 April 2020 on how to build more awareness about opportunities for female professionals in STEM through outreach and providing support, importance of having a Women Tech Entrepreneurs Learning Circle and hosting more masterclasses by female industry leaders to inspire women or girls who are interested in getting into STEM fields. A prescient need for upskilling and reskilling were also discussed.

The importance of focusing on Diversity & Inclusion as an agenda even during the time of a crisis like COVID 19 was also a recurring theme.
