Your age doesn’t define your limits. Your mind does. Do you have a growth mindset or a fixed mindset?
People with a growth mindset think they can improve their skills (through diligence, wise planning, and feedback from others). Compared to others with more rigid mindsets, they frequently achieve more (those who believe their talents are innate gifts). This is a result of their increased focus on studying and less concern about seeming intelligent. Employees at organizations that as a whole adopt a growth mindset report feeling much more empowered and committed. A growth mindset is essential for nurturing innovation and willingness to take risks at the company level.
In this session, Lusanda Magwape, CEO, Dream Factory Foundation speaks about how having a growth mindset and continuously upskilling can make you the best version of yourself.
